Field Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Application Engineering group, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our Asia Pacific (APAC) Application Engineering Manager to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' mission-critical needs. This role involves supporting system design, installation, maintenance, and training for various programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support for RF Communications tactical radio equipment in the HF, VHF, UHF, and SHF RF spectrum.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure customers have the necessary skills to operate and maintain our equipment.
  • Work closely with sales teams to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and develop new solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in military communications, with a focus on field engineering and tactical radio equipment.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present reports and briefings to customers.
