Job Title: Residential Caregiver

The College seeks a compassionate and responsible individual to provide care and support to our boarding students.

This part-time role involves assisting in the development of a positive and supportive boarding house environment, promoting the well-being and safety of the students under your care.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the development of a positive Boarding House culture
  • Collecting and distributing boarders' mail
  • Coordinating meals within the Boarding House
  • Encouraging personal hygiene standards
  • Monitoring student activities and behaviours
  • Assuming responsibility for general tidiness and basic housekeeping needs
  • Preparing maintenance reports and requisitions
  • Participating in Boarding activities

To be suitable for this role, you must:

  • Relate well to students, other staff members, and Boarding staff
  • Demonstrate commitment to Catholic education values
  • Show professional competence and adherence to school values
  • Demonstrate compassion and understanding in handling sensitive matters
  • Have substantial knowledge and experience working with adolescent males
  • Excel in working under pressure in collaboration with others
