Risk Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Risk Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a healthy balance of excitement and integrity, ensuring our company positively shapes the industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and compliance management, with a strong understanding of assurance and testing in a risk environment. They will be able to work closely with experienced professionals, gain exposure to complex control environments and business operations, and support the Senior Assurance Analyst with planning and delivering control assurance reviews.
Key responsibilities include conducting walkthroughs to understand processes, identifying key risks, and evaluating the design of controls. The successful candidate will also perform testing of controls, gather supporting evidence, and identify control gaps or weaknesses. They will draft clear, concise reports outlining findings, root causes, and agreed remediation actions.
Additionally, they will help manage risk admin tasks, including tracking issues, follow-ups, and staff attestation processes. A good communication skillset and ability to manage internal stakeholders are essential for this role.
