We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Edensor Gardens, a brand new 143-bed aged care residence in the Fairfield Area.
As a Registered Nurse at Edensor Gardens, you will play a vital role in ensuring the total care of our residents, including planning, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of care tailored to their individual needs.
You will promote their independence and create a welcoming, calm atmosphere, supported by our Director of Care, Clinical Care Coordinators, and Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to residents, adhering to individual care plans and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement effective care strategies.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on health and wellness topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- 1-2 years of Registered Nursing experience in Aged Care, preferably.
- Clear understanding of the 8 new quality standards in aged care.
- Strong passion for quality in aged care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good administration and documentation skills.
- Hardworking, flexible, and available to cover shifts.
- Strong values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect, and Loyalty.
