Job Description

The successful candidate will join a team of educators dedicated to providing high-quality, student-centered learning experiences. The role involves leading and managing the Literacy program in Years K-6, ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • Utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and wellbeing

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching Literacy in Early Stage 1 to Stage 3
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
