Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to visitors, contractors, and clients
  • Monitor CCTV and access control systems to maintain security standards
  • Conduct regular building patrols to mitigate risks and hazards
  • Identify and report potential security threats and building faults
  • Support tenants and facilities teams with their needs
  • Manage contractors and deliveries through efficient dock management processes
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide assistance when needed
  • Carry out additional tasks as required by the organization
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure high-quality interactions
  • Previous experience in a retail environment is beneficial for understanding store operations
  • Verbal de-escalation skills to handle challenging situations effectively
  • Professional appearance suitable for a retail role
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset to address security concerns
  • Able to manage interactions with youths and difficult customers calmly and safely
  • Australian citizenship or hold unlimited work rights
  • Ability to prepare and write clear reports on incidents or issues
  • Proficient in using computers and security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programs)
  • Physical fitness to perform duties that require prolonged walking and standing
  • Crowd control endorsement is highly desirable but not essential
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification is required
