Strategic Mineral Resources Leader

As a strategic leader in mineral resources, you will play a pivotal role in driving unprecedented growth across our operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the execution of Lithium Resource Development programs at Mt Marion operations.

This is a hands-on position that will predominantly be a site-based role, reporting directly to the Manager Lithium Resource Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the work-related health and safety performance of all Resource Development personnel, contractors, visitors, and stakeholders by assisting with the embedding of the Resource Development function and maintenance of systems and standards.
  • Assist in developing high-quality data inputs for Resource models to support the mine planning process.
  • Act as site contact for Resource Development programs to ensure value is generated from the programs in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Geology and a minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining and exploration industry.
  • Strong understanding of diamond and RC drilling programmes in operating mines.
  • Skilled user of Micromine, Vulcan, Leapfrog, Arc GIS, Acquire or similar.
  • A natural leader who drives change and holds teams accountable for delivery.
