About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Remediation team in Balcatta. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for Mining & Industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop accurate cost estimates from first principles
  • Detailed and accurate quantity take-offs
  • Attend site visits as required
  • Risk & Opportunity assessment
  • Prepare RFIs and tender clarifications
  • Compile clear and concise scopes of works
  • Liaise with company Subject Matter Experts
  • Develop construction methodologies, programs and submission documentation
  • Tender handover & support to operations team
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in the resources maintenance field
  • Ability to build up cost estimates from first principles
  • Marine experience desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confidence and professionalism
  • A strong financial and commercial acumen
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tenders & deadlines
  • Ability to present your estimates to Senior Management for approval to submit
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying / Engineering or similar
  • Pronamics Expert Estimation or similar software
  • MS Project experience
  • MS Office proficiency
