Light Rail Operator
">Description:We are seeking a skilled Light Rail Driver to operate light rail vehicles on designated routes in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers across the city.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate Light Rail Vehicles: Ensure compliance with strict safety protocols and guidelines while operating light rail vehicles on designated routes.
- Maintain Passenger Safety and Comfort: Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle environment to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence (C Class): Possess a valid NSW drivers licence (C class) with a minimum of 5 years' experience on your full licence.
- Safe Driving Record: Have a proven record of safe driving on the road, with a focus on defensive driving techniques.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a rotating roster, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal communication skills and experience at communicating with a broad range of stakeholders.
