After Hours Coordinator Position
This is a permanent part-time opportunity to join our healthcare team as an After Hours Coordinator. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care practices, processes, and services. You will also ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to uphold best practices.
Collaborating with Shift Leaders and Unit Managers is essential to achieve excellence in care delivery. As a leader, you will inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. Working closely with VMOs is vital to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.
You will report directly to the Director of Nursing, contributing to strategic goals and objectives.
About This Role
To be successful in this role, you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in an environment with diverse challenges that rural health brings. To excel in this position, you will need;
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective clinical practice role model
- Sound computer skills
Working Arrangements
You will need to be available to work a 7-day rotating roster across all shifts. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of our patients.
