Job Opportunity

We're seeking a talented SEO Specialist to join our team. Our goal is to become the leading platform for consumers to compare products and make informed decisions about financial wellbeing.

This role plays a crucial part in driving organic traffic and generating quality leads through best-in-class search engine optimisation strategies.

About the Position

You will develop and implement SEO strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage technical SEO, link building, and content marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive overall SEO performance
  2. Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure search engine optimisation best practices are followed
  3. Explore new trends and innovate ways of working
  4. Review and analyse site for areas that can be improved and optimised
  5. Conduct in-depth keyword research, manage keyword rank tracking and reporting
  6. Work closely with the Content team and Product team to populate site and other content with effective SEO practices
  7. Execute link building activities
  8. Identify, plan, and execute technical SEO recommendations for site architecture, migrations, redesigns, and indexing
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in SEO
  10. Establish good SEO practices and habits within editorial teams
  11. Monitor GSC, GA, SEMrush, and MOZ accounts for issues and anomalies
  12. Maintenance, auditing & optimisation of existing pages
  13. Maintain and improve Schema markups
  14. Regular SEO audits, competitive analysis, and gap analysis
  15. Regular reporting and presentations to communicate results to the team and wider business

Requirements

  • Minimum four years of experience in a similar position, in-house or at a digital agency
  • Proven track record of scaling a brand's organic traffic and tying SEO efforts to awareness, acquisition, and revenue outcomes
  • Experience with industry tools like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Majestic, Google Search Console, ScreamingFrog, etc.
  • Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Adobe Stack
  • Measuring all aspects of SEO performance and partnering with cross-functional teams to turn data into insights and actions
  • Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A robust understanding of search and Google algorithm updates
  • In-depth working knowledge of content SEO
  • Good understanding of technical SEO
  • Ability to coach and upskill in-house content writers in SEO
  • Knowledge of financial services will be considered an asset
  • Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions for commercial and operational performance
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
