About the Role

We are seeking experienced Social Workers to join our team in the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. As a Social Worker AHP1, you will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Social Worker, contributing to the delivery of comprehensive health services to the local community. As a Social Worker AHP2, you will work under reduced clinical direction, contributing to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.
  • Work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors.
  • Utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.
  • Contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students (AHP2 only).
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification within the Social Work profession.
  • Eligibility for practicing membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Participation in the AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation program (desirable).
