Medium Rigid Truck Driver

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled driver to join our team in Launceston 7250. The successful candidate will operate Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicles, collecting waste and recyclables from valued clients.

The role offers a Monday to Friday roster with occasional weekend work and overtime available. You will have the opportunity for training and upskilling, enhancing your skills and career prospects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collecting and transporting waste and recyclables to disposal locations.
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Learning to operate a range of fleet and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid HR licence.
• Experience driving MR and HR vehicles is desirable.
• Good geographical knowledge of Launceston and surrounding suburbs.
• A safety-conscious mindset.
