At Buffalo Innovation, we are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Linesworker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing external telecommunications equipment.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and equipment deployment, as well as the ability to review drawings, specifications, and work areas to determine connections and positioning for equipment installation.

A key aspect of this role is identifying faults in telecommunications equipment using various tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and transmission measuring equipment. The selected individual will also be responsible for attaching wires and cables to appliances, adjusting, replacing, and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in installing cabling for telephone, radio, pay TV, and computer transmission, setting up, testing, and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennae, as well as setting up telecommunications equipment and appliances.

We require applicants to possess AQF Certificate IV or higher qualification in related fields, strong technical knowledge across all fields, and at least 2 years of experience in related positions. Excellent time management skills, excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to work with team members with varied technical skill levels are also essential.
