We are excited to offer a senior research position in our Occupational Sleep Medicine Group at Washington State University - Spokane. This role presents a unique opportunity to conduct innovative research on napping and safety, working closely with our team to drive meaningful outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the chance to:

  1. Design and implement research studies, focusing on the optimal nap length during night shifts and its impact on safety and productivity.
  2. Analyze and interpret data, identifying key findings and recommendations for evidence-based policies.
  3. Collaborate with national and international partners, sharing knowledge and best practices to advance the field of sleep medicine.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs, educating stakeholders on the importance of optimized nap strategies.

About the Role

This is a three-year appointment, commencing in July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to research initiatives, mentoring emerging researchers, and collaborating with international partners. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about advancing the field of sleep medicine.

Required Skills and Qualifications
