Are you passionate about improving the lives of Aboriginal people? Do you have a strong desire to make a positive impact in your community?

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a mental health clinician while studying towards a Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health).

You will work under supervision in diverse clinical settings, undertaking supervised assessments, care planning, and interventions.

As part of this program, you will develop your clinical skills and knowledge through structured placements and study towards a nationally recognized degree.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our team to support consumers through referrals and coordination of services.
  • Develop effective relationships with colleagues and community members.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.
Essential Requirements
  • Identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Understanding of the health needs of Aboriginal peoples and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
