Oracle Database Administrator
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level database administration services to ensure the high availability, performance, and security of our Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Oracle database architectures
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize downtime
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues using tools such as AWR and ASH
- Apply patches and updates to maintain the latest software versions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration
- Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, configuration, and tuning
- Expert-level skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Linux/AIX
- Experience with Oracle ASM, ACFS, and RAC
- Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as RMAN and NetBackup
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
