Welding Supervisor Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Welding Supervisor to oversee the welding resources during plant outages on a coal-fired power station.

This position is responsible for ensuring the work crew is set up to succeed with low failure rates in line with industry standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Superintendent, Leading Hands, and work crews to accomplish this goal.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Cert 10 - Welding Supervisor (favourable)
  • Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in boiler pressure parts or big bore piping
  • Ability to read and interpret schedules and provide accurate schedule updates
  • Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
