Job Title: Software Engineer

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is a leading provider of innovative retail solutions, dedicated to driving digital transformation and empowering businesses across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, world-class software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement systems using various programming languages, including Java, Web, C, C++, Kotlin, Swift, and scripting.
  • Develop new application integrations and provide daily operational support.
  • Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation.
  • Identify and debug issues with code and integration into application architecture.
  • Ensure delivery within tight timelines and meeting the team's expectations.
Technical Skills Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in developing various applications for production.
  • Experience in various integration methodologies, including RESTful API, message queues like Active MQ, Kafka, web services.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture.
  • Experience in backend and/or frontend development, including Native mobile Apps using Kotlin and Swift programming languages.
  • Solid knowledge in Java technology (Java 8 & 17, Spring Boot 3.0, MYSQL/Postgres database).
  • Experience in RESTful API integration.
  • Solid knowledge in Database technology (MYSQL/Postgres/Mongo database).
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • 6 years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
  • Worked in high-performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams.
  • Experience with Dev Ops practices and Automation tools.
