Security Strategist

This role represents a pivotal position in shaping a secure digital ecosystem, seamlessly integrating technical expertise with business objectives to foster growth and resilience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience, preferably with at least 5 years in security architecture roles. They will be responsible for developing and owning enterprise-wide security strategies, roadmaps, and reference models that align with business imperatives.

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive security frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, ISO 27001) to ensure consistent governance across platforms.
  • Collaborate with executives, risk/compliance, IT, and engineering teams to define secure architecture patterns and controls that mitigate risks.
  • Drive security initiatives for cloud (AWS/Azure), hybrid infrastructure, data protection, IAM, and application security to safeguard assets.

Required skills include strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud security architecture frameworks and methodologies, experience across domains such as IAM, network security, DevSecOps, and cloud-native security (AWS/Azure), and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SABSA, AWS/Azure Security, TOGAF).
