**About the Role:**
Calvary Launceston seeks an accomplished Registered Nurse to lead our education and quality improvement initiatives as the Learning and Development Manager.
This senior position offers a unique chance to shape the future of nursing education and make a lasting impact on patient care.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning strategies that align with Calvary's Clinical Services Plan and NSQHS Standards.
- In collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services, they will identify education and training needs, ensuring our staff have the necessary skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
- They will provide strategic direction and guidance to a dynamic team of Clinical Nurse Educators and Nursing Facilitators.
- L&D Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies that support Calvary's quality initiatives.
- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to a dynamic team of Clinical Nurse Educators and Nursing Facilitators.
- Educational Activities: Ensure educational activities are tailored to meet the needs and expectations of our customers, maintaining current knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Team Management: Participate in the development of and effectively manage the education team to meet budget targets.
- Staff Compliance: Coordinate training and education to facilitate staff compliance with mandatory training requirements in line with Calvary national benchmarks.
- Registration and Qualifications: Registration with AHPRA and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Post-graduate Qualification: Post-graduate qualification in education.
- Certificate IV: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles.
- Commitment to CPD: Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Nursing Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices pertaining to the position.
- Computer Literacy: Good computer literacy and ability to run reports.
