  • Deliver high-quality mental health services to consumers with severe and enduring mental illness in a multidisciplinary context.
  • Contribute to the coordination and delivery of comprehensive social work services to eligible mental health consumers.
  • Apply clinical skills to a broad scope of practice, promoting self-determination and connectedness in a rural context.
  • Facilitate change and recovery with consumers and their families, supporters, and communities.
  • Manage a complex mental health social work caseload and support team members in meeting service demands.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and a duty roster system for intake of referrals.
  • Contribute to consumer care planning by offering a discipline perspective.
  • Work effectively with other agencies to ensure coordinated care for consumers.
  • Allocate and coordinate individual psychosocial support packages.
  • Apply mental health care principles to improve health outcomes for consumers.
  • Participate in regional LHN social work professional network and professional development activities.
  • Supervise students on clinical placement within the social work profession.
About You
  • Hold a recognized qualification in social work and be eligible for membership with the AASW.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant mental health field, working in a rural/remote context.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills and competency at AHP2 Level.
  • possess well-developed time-management, prioritization, adaptability, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team structure.
  • Hold a current driver's license.
Salary

Enjoy excellent casual rates paying up to $58-67p/h plus super (based on experience).
