ClearCompany's ICT Security Job Description

In this role as a Cybersecurity Expert at ClearCompany, you will be responsible for conducting security risk assessments, providing guidance on procedural security controls, and ensuring identified information security breaches are promptly managed according to ASD policies and procedures. You will also advise stakeholders on security features and capabilities of current ASD and industry accepted hardware and software products and develop security strategies for managing identified risks. Additionally, you will facilitate direction for the team by clearly communicating goals and objectives, interpret security policy, and contribute to developing standards and guidelines that comply with ASD policy and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Security risk assessments and guidance on procedural security controls.
  • Management of identified information security breaches.
  • Advice on security features and capabilities of current ASD and industry accepted hardware and software products.
  • Expert advice on system security and relevant strengths and weaknesses across ASD.
  • Development and implementation of security strategies for managing identified risks.
  • Direction for the team through clear communication of goals and objectives.
  • Development and maintenance of security standards and guidelines.
  • Analyse and resolution of identified security incidents.
  • Application and compliance of security operations procedures.
  • Review of information systems for actual or potential breaches in security.

Skills and Qualifications
* IRAP Assessor certification
* Experience ensuring technical systems adhere to Essential Eight, ISM, and PSPF frameworks
* Ability to communicate complex technical systems to non-technical audiences
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proven record building, managing, and enhancing stakeholder relationships
* Experience developing, managing, and implementing SOPs and procedures in support of security accreditation frameworks
