Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Associate Director

Robert Walters Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Director to join their dynamic team in Sydney. As a key member of the Corporate and Institutional Banking team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your professional experience in the local syndicated loan/corporate banking market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and leverage internal and external networks to grow new business
  • Support or lead the origination, development, due diligence, approval, and implementation of project finance transactions
  • Develop solutions that display deep understanding of our clients and their industries
  • Proactively manage forward business pipeline
  • Arrange and execute credit products for corporate transactions covering bilateral, club, and syndicated facilities
  • Grow and manage a loan portfolio with a vision for optimal composition and geography, industry, and risk diversification
  • Recognise client and Bank risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies
  • ESG management, including analysis and assessment of ESG risks
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant area
  • 8 or more years of relevant professional experience in the local syndicated loan/corporate banking market with a provable track record
  • Strong legal, documentation, financial modelling, and risk analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Ideally Mandarin speaking but not necessary
