Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Hotworks - Leading Hand to join our team. As a Maintenance Hotworks - Leading Hand, you will be responsible for performing boilermaker welder duties and supervising the mechanical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform boilermaker welder duties and supervise the mechanical team in a manner that protects safety, health, and the environment, whilst conforming to quality and time requirements.
• Ensure good housekeeping habits and maintain a safe worksite for yourself and fellow workers.
• Ensure that assigned tasks are within capabilities and qualifications, and report progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified/indentured Boilermaker, Structural Steel Fabricator and/or Welder.
• A minimum of one year industry (oil and gas) experience.
• Department of Labour Certificate 4 (Piping Alloy Steel), 3 E (All position Plate – down hand, vertical and overhead) and 7 (Mig – continuous wire feed).
• Qualified in the proficient use of the Semi-Automatic Welding Processes (Fronius/Lincoln STT) in the 6 G positions.
• Successfully completed a Supervisory Training course.
