Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ADB + Azure DevOps professional to join our team in Sydney.

Location: Sydney
Type: Contract (6 months +)
Nature of work: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
  • Design scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
  • Implement structured streaming, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
  • Optimize Spark jobs and manage cluster performance
  • Experience in production support environment
  • Expertise with Azure Databricks solutions
  • Build maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform
  • Automate deployment of notebooks, clusters, secrets, and data workflows
  • Manage version control, branching strategies, code reviews
  • ETL skills advantageous supporting ETL framework-based database reporting systems
  • Work with Azure services: Data Factory, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Synapse, EventHub, Power BI
  • Implement RBAC/ABAC, encryption, data masking secure data handling
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams requirement gathering solution design
  • Document technical specifications data dictionaries architecture blueprints
Desirable Skills
  • Experience MLflow, Power BI, Databricks Dashboards
  • Familiarity Delta Live Tables
  • Exposure Agile, JIRA, test management tools
