The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualifications and experience in designing rotating menus that adhere to dietary guidelines and cater to the diverse needs of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare balanced, nutritious meals suitable for young children, considering their developmental needs.
- Manage food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
- Work within budgetary constraints when ordering food and supplies.
- Prepare meals for children with allergies, intolerance's, or specific dietary needs.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and ensure they meet the needs of the children and the service.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualifications.
- Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in a similar role, particularly in an early childhood setting.
