Senior Communications Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Manager, Communications, in communicating the message of the Archbishop and the Archdiocese of Perth.

About the Role:

  • You will provide expert advice and direct support to stakeholders across parishes, agencies, offices, and organisations of the Archdiocese of Perth on best practice methods with regards to implementing communications strategies and campaigns.
  • You will develop content across archdiocesan websites and platforms utilised by internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective communications strategies and campaigns that align with the Archbishop's message.
  2. Provide high-level advice and guidance to stakeholders on communications best practices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.

Requirements:

  • You will have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • You will have minimum five years' experience in a similar role.
  • You will have advanced proficiency in the Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You will have intermediate skills in social media and newsletter systems like Mailchimp.

  • You will be based at central location in Victoria Square, Perth.
