Dentons is seeking a talented and ambitious lawyer to join our rapidly growing Brisbane Construction practice group.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with 2–5 years' PQE to develop their skills in litigation and gain exposure to a broad range of contentious matters, including commercial building and development, engineering, residential building, regulatory and insolvency disputes.
- Progress cases from start to finish under supportive supervision;
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits, and other court documents;
- Represent the firm at hearings (including directions hearings, winding-up and creditors' petitions, and interlocutory applications);
- Prepare detailed advice and evidence; and
- Work closely with counsel on defended litigation.
Our construction litigation team has a strong pipeline of work with blue-chip clients.
As a valued member of our team, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibility and supported autonomy, including the opportunity to progress your own files under partner supervision.
