Fire Technician Job DescriptionAt our organization, we are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Fire Technician to join us in Cairns. This critical role involves maintenance, breakdowns, and installations of various equipment, including surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment, identifying, servicing, and repairing fire protection and safety systems and equipment, and conducting maintenance activities on fire equipment according to Australian Standards.About the Role

This is a key position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of fire protection and safety systems and equipment, and providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Survey customer premises to identify fire protection and safety system needs
  • Recommend and install fire protection and safety systems and equipment as required
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A customer-focused attitude
  • A QBCC license and relevant qualifications
  • A current QLD Electrical license
  • Good time management skills
  • Planning & scheduling experience
  • WHS knowledge and application
