Childcare Educator

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Childcare Educators in the vibrant suburb of Wavell Heights. As an integral part of our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of primary school children.
About the Role- Assist in the care of children before and after school, during school holidays, and engaging them in exciting activities that foster their growth and development.
- Contribute to creating a stimulating and safe environment that encourages learning through spontaneous and planned play experiences.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's progress.
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or related field; or relevant work experience.
- Able to commit to a casual schedule with flexibility to allocate availability for study or family needs.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certification, and be willing to obtain a Positive Notice Blue Card if not already held.
