We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Manager to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing the digital engineering function and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Digital Engineering strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the Drafting & BIM team, reviewing and refining procedures and standards to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Work closely with the Spatial Integration Division to deliver integrated digital solutions to our projects and clients.
  • Coordinate the extraction and delivery of model information as required for design coordination, project management, project controls, cost consulting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide delivery support on multiple key projects, offering innovative solutions that meet quality, timely service, and budget constraints.
  • Develop strong internal and external client relationships to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the HSEQ team to integrate Digital Engineering with the company's quality management system, including document control and records management.
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems and ITC teams to integrate Digital Engineering and BIM software/hardware.
  • Own the company's Digital Engineering and Design Management procedures.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest advancements in Digital Engineering and BIM.
  • Develop and present business cases for investments in new technology.
About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with:

  • Qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or extensive experience in Digital Engineering/BIM Management for major projects.
  • Experience in developing Common Data Environments and delivering DE Execution Plans.
  • Skills in project delivery planning, engaging and supporting users, and managing draftspersons.
  • Strong technical experience in a range of 3D CAD and BIM software applications.
  • Ability to implement a strategy from start to finish in a staged approach.
  • Confidence and proficiency in engaging colleagues and clients to understand project requirements, pain points, and guide solutions.
