Job Overview:

We are seeking a part-time economics lecturer to deliver scheduled teaching for AS/A-level Economics and prepare learning materials. This role involves marking students' work, providing educational guidance and support, and liaising with awarding bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver scheduled teaching for AS/A-level Economics
• Prepare learning materials and resources for students
• Mark students' work and provide feedback
• Liaise with awarding bodies and exam invigilation as required
• Provide educational guidance, support, and counselling for all students

Requirements:

1. A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification
2. Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualification
3. Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
4. Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching
