Student Support Nurse

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students with health support needs. As a clinical nurse, you will work closely with school staff and families to provide educationally relevant nursing services that enable access and participation for these students.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and team-oriented professional who thrives on collaboration and is committed to supporting the wellbeing and participation of students with health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing services that enable access and participation for students with health support needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop, implement and update Individual and Emergency Health Plans for the safe support of students with health needs in a school setting.
- Support the inclusion of individual student health support requirements in school planning processes.
- Provide in-service training to nominated school personnel on specific health subjects.
