About the Job:

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers responsible for critical data platforms.
  • Develop and execute long-term technical strategies for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Drive architectural decisions and innovations aligning with CrowdStrike's business goals and technical roadmap.
  • Oversee operations in large-scale Linux environments, balancing cloud and bare metal infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data services into the broader technology ecosystem.
  • Implement processes for continuous improvement, focusing on system reliability, performance optimization, and cost-effectiveness.

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing teams of 10+ engineers.
  • Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.
  • Proven experience in scaling and optimizing large-scale data services in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, AWS, GCP, OCI, and Azure.
  • Experience in managing hybrid cloud and bare metal infrastructures.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Track record of successful project delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
