At Cummins Inc., we are seeking a skilled Engine Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines and related components at customer sites.

With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs. Your technical expertise will be applied to diagnose and complete basic repairs, using specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies.

As a Field Service Technician, you will also perform preventative maintenance activities as per scheduled standards on engines and related components in the field. You will be required to maintain accurate documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training programs aligned with business requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining service vehicles and tools in a clean and proper condition, adhering to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislations.

This position requires a strong understanding of engine systems interactions, including internal and external electrical and mechanical systems. You will apply tools, service publications, and take measurements to efficiently and correctly diagnose and repair engine systems.
