About the Opportunity

Job Summary: Titan Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our client's project team in Perth. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and delivering safe and sustainable electrical engineering services for a project in the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide electrical engineering services that meet client standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Perform and support engineering design and technical verification of project deliverables, including the development of detailed engineering estimates.
  3. Proactively manage safety hazards and risks throughout the asset lifecycle, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  4. Prepare and oversee engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  5. Participate in site visits, project reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs, and safety in design workshops to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  6. Facilitate Safety in Design risk assessments and prepare detailed engineering estimates to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and site teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
  8. Oversee the sequence of engineering tasks to ensure timely project delivery and act as the primary contact for discipline-specific issues.
  9. Ensure technical integrity and provide direction and supervision for engineering and design, ensuring consistency and quality in deliverables.
  10. Manage resources as required to meet project schedules and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, with a strong background in front-end design and consultancy experience.
  3. Technical experience in Brownfield projects, with the ability to lead a small team of electrical engineers.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.
