Job DescriptionAs a dedicated Automotive Maintenance Technician, you will be working within a fast-paced environment that prioritizes delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will involve providing general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles and services, ensuring seamless operations within the workshop and garage.
You will work closely with experienced motor mechanics, gaining valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and support to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues
- Servicing vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Conducting thorough safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Utilizing computer diagnostics to identify and resolve technical problems
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols
To be considered for this apprenticeship or traineeship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or possess full working rights
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Display a genuine interest in the automotive industry, with a willingness to learn and grow
- Exhibit trustworthiness and reliability, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and commitments
- Hold a valid driver's license and possess a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Strive for excellence in maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to industry regulations and best practices
We offer a competitive salary based on your level of experience, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum. In addition, you can expect the following benefits:
- A 38-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts
- A monthly phone allowance to support your personal and professional life
- A tool allowance to facilitate your growth and development in the role
