About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Apprentice to join our team at Green by Nature. As a Horticulture Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in maintaining and beautifying parks, gardens, and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and care for green spaces, including planting, pruning, and mowing operations
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
  • Learn and implement safety protocols and equipment operation
  • Participate in weekly classroom learning sessions to develop your skills and knowledge

What You'll Learn

  • Plant care and maintenance
  • Plant nutrition programs
  • Pest and disease management
  • Irrigation systems installation and maintenance
  • Specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations
  • Safety protocols and equipment operation

Requirements

  • No prior experience required
  • Valid Drivers' licence
  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
