About the Role

We are seeking a Year 10 student to undertake a School-based Traineeship in partnership with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. This role offers the opportunity to work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations while gaining valuable work experience in a Reece branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and uphold the Reece values, policies, and procedures.
  • Prioritize excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for our clients.
  • Successfully complete all certificate requirements, including workbooks, on-the-job training, and assessments.
  • Process sales efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain stock levels and manage inventory effectively.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls, taking messages and orders as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Broaden product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any further needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and well-organized branch environment.

Working Conditions

This traineeship involves working in a Reece branch for approximately one and a half days per week, with the possibility of additional hours during school holidays. Saturday availability is required. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
