Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Analysis and Feasibility Studies: Conduct comprehensive technical analyses and feasibility studies to identify and evaluate potential projects and opportunities.
  • Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to project teams on design and construction segments, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all projects and activities are conducted in accordance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to operational and maintenance units to ensure that equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that projects are meeting company benchmarks and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Skills: Proficiency in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent platforms; analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations pertinent to the mining or heavy industrial sectors.
