Job Description

Inventory Management & Stock Control:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Nutreco. In this role, you will be responsible for ordering materials and equipment, registering them in relevant databases, and providing input on supplier performance.

You will also be responsible for inspecting, managing, and maintaining materials, tools, and equipment on stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery.

Inbound Goods and Storing:

The successful candidate will coordinate the intake of incoming materials and equipment, check and register quantity, damages, and completeness, and organize location for unloading and storage.

They will also be responsible for unloading and labelling materials and equipment and ensuring storing at the defined location/warehouse at the right position.

Order Handling:

You will receive and process orders from customers, select, check, pack, and distribute required materials and equipment to customers and locations.

This includes cooperation with warehouse staff or direct self-delivery to ensure efficient, in-time, and correct delivery of materials and equipment.

Outbound Goods and Transport Planning Scheduling:

The Logistics Specialist will ensure that goods and materials are transport-ready, including dispatch papers and accompanying documents for drivers.

They will also support routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer records and requests to meet customer expectations.

Systems and Administration:

You will execute administrative tasks such as intake and distribution of materials and equipment in relevant systems, registration of hours, and other logistics administration to provide reports to stakeholders.

The goal is to maintain up-to-date administration and insight into availability and throughput of materials and equipment.

Customer Satisfaction:

The successful candidate will manage customer relationships, handle customer requests, and maintain customer confidence to achieve external customer satisfaction and sustainable customer relations.

Continuous Improvement:

You will monitor, measure, benchmark, and evaluate logistics processes, tools, and systems to initiate and implement changes and improvements for continuous optimization and alignment.

Compliance:

The Logistics Specialist will ensure compliance with all operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
