Water Sanitation Professional Placement
">The placement provides an opportunity to support ongoing water management and sanitation projects in northern Peru. We need hard-working volunteer interns with a strong interest and/or background knowledge in these areas.
Job Description">This project aims to improve access to clean water and sanitation facilities for local communities in northern Peru. The placement involves supporting the development of sustainable water management and sanitation systems, including the installation of biodigesters, dry toilets, and desalination units. Volunteers will work alongside experienced staff to implement and evaluate these initiatives.
Key tasks include:

- Collaborating with local communities to develop and promote sustainable practices">
- Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and identifying areas for improvement">
We are looking for volunteers with a strong background in water management and sanitation. Ideal candidates should have:

- Knowledge of sustainable practices and community engagement">
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment">
- Good communication and interpersonal skills">
As a volunteer, you will gain valuable experience and skills in water management and sanitation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project that improves the lives of local communities.
">Other Opportunities">During your placement, you will have the opportunity to participate in educational seminars and workshops on topics such as international development, NGO management, and research techniques. You will also be able to explore the beautiful region of northern Peru and engage with local cultures.
">In return, we ask that you commit to a minimum of six months and be willing to adapt to the challenges and opportunities of working in a developing country.
