Support Worker for Mental Health

Mental health disability support workers play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities or mental health issues to live fulfilling lives.
We prioritize respect in all our interactions and strive to support our participants in achieving their goals, promoting autonomy and well-being.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the participant's team to develop and implement individualized plans that cater to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to a participant in Main Beach, Gold Coast, focusing on mental health and redirection.
- Assist the participant in maintaining their independence by engaging them in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field.
- Experience in Mental Health and redirection is essential.
- High Care or Complex Behaviors experience is highly desirable.
- CPR, First Aid, and relevant certifications are mandatory.
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.
