About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team at Babcock Australasia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Manager, Reputation and Engagement, in the coordination of major events and sponsorships across Australasia.

As our ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of delivering impactful events, tradeshows, and partnerships. You will be responsible for engaging a broad audience, building and nurturing relationships with conference attendees, community groups, stakeholders, and sponsors.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain Defence Security clearance.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
  • Computer literacy with detailed experience using MS Office Products.

Desirable qualifications include project management skills and a degree in an appropriate discipline or significant equivalent demonstrated experience of 5+ years in Events and/or Marketing.
