About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team at BaptistCare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on our facilities, ensuring they remain in excellent condition. This includes tasks such as repairing equipment, maintaining buildings and gardens, and managing site vehicles.

In this role, you will work under limited supervision, using your problem-solving skills to tackle a variety of tasks. You will also have the opportunity to develop effective relationships with staff and contractors, and contribute to budget planning and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance checks on buildings, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset acquisition and disposal.
  • Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
  • Hands-on property maintenance experience.
  • Understanding of operational budget processes.
  • Experience managing property-related contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) - desirable.
