Job Description

A senior leadership role in early childhood education is available at a reputable learning centre in Darwin. We are seeking an exceptional Executive to join our dedicated team.

About the Role
  • Promote high-quality programming aligned with the EYLF and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Support overall leadership and management of the centre, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice.
  • Lead and mentor educators, fostering a culture of professional growth and development.
  • Strengthen relationships with families and the local community through effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee curriculum development, assessments, and professional development aligned with our goals.
  • Ensure efficient operational areas in the Director's absence, acting as the Responsible Person.
  • Mentor and support educators to achieve individual and team targets.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
  • At least 1 year in a senior role (e.g. Room Leader or Assistant Director).
  • Strong knowledge of NQF, National Law & Regulations, EYLF.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC (Ochre Card), and accredited Child Protection training.
