Teaching Science Opportunity

">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team at a K-12 co-educational Islamic school in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching Science and committed to providing high-quality education. They will deliver engaging Science lessons to students of various age groups, develop curriculum-aligned lesson plans, and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have NESA Accreditation and Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain). They will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals and contribute to the growth and development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Engaging Science Lessons: The Science Teacher will create and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities.
  • Develop Curriculum-Aligned Plans: The teacher will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans that meet the educational standards of the institution.
  • Maintain a Positive Learning Environment: The Science Teacher will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement.
Requirements:
  • NESA Accreditation: The successful applicant must possess current NESA Accreditation as a Science Teacher.
  • Working Rights for Australia: The ideal candidate must have Working Rights for Australia or eligibility to gain them.
