We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mechanical tradesperson to take on a range of challenging tasks, including mechanical repairs, maintenance planning, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical repairs on fixed plant, with a focus on planned and predictive/preventative maintenance.
• Provide leadership and commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
• Administer tasks within the maintenance planning system.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead contract teams and service providers during shutdowns.

Requirements:

• Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter) with experience in the mining or heavy industry sector.
• A vehicle license and High Risk license, including Fork lift and EWP certification.
• A post-trade certificate and experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• Strong computer literacy, with experience using maintenance planning systems.
• A confident, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
• A team player with flexibility to work in various trade capacities.
• The ability to work autonomously, without direct supervision.
