Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our radiation therapy team, you will participate in the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (ROMP) Training, Education and Assessment Program (TEAP).
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in TEAP program
* Gain experience in clinical medical physics services, including radiation safety, dosimetry, equipment operation, and treatment planning
* Work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
* Collaborate with radiation therapists, nurses, technical service engineers, and other allied health professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications
* ACPSEM approved undergraduate degree in physics
* Eligibility to enrol in ACPSEM ROMP TEAP
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Hold or eligible to hold a Victorian Radiation Use Licence
